Ron Hunter grew up on a farm in Rural Hall, North Carolina. As a boy, Ron recalls, “we had everything we needed on the farm”, and that included an old guitar that his father showed him a thing or two on. Ron always remembered what his father showed him, and the guitar became a lifelong companion, never far from his side. Singing and playing became as natural as breathing the country air, and Ron has shared that gift with anyone within earshot. Until recent years his audiences have been local, but lately, he has taken his message of hope and perseverance to people around the country as well as Belgium, France, and Costa Rica. Known as the “Happiest Bluesman Alive”, Big Ron Hunter now brings his inspired sound back home, to you.
