Join Stokes Arts for a FREE screening of “Are You Here” starring North Carolina native Zach Galifianikis alongside Owen Wilson and Amy Poehler. “Are You Here” follows two childhood best friends, one a superficial womanizer and the other a barely functioning bipolar, as they embark on a road trip back to their hometown after one of them learns his estranged father has died.
Part of the Films of the Piedmont Triad Series, “Are You Here” is the fifth free film screening made possible by a partnership between the Stokes County Arts Council and the Piedmont Triad Film Commission.
Formed in 1993, The Piedmont Triad Film Commission provides motion picture assistance ranging from location scouting to pre and post-production services. Featured productions have included “The Longest Ride,” “Leatherheads,” “Junebug,” and “Bull Durham,” as well as television movies, series, and reality/documentary productions.
