The Danbury Songwriters Series welcomes Nicholas Bullins and Dell Guthrie with Ray Allegrezzo to The Arts Place of Stokes on Thursday, June 28th, 2018.
A native of Walnut Cove, NC, Nicholas Bullins reaches origins from modern to baroque finger-style acoustic picking to world folk and bluegrass banjo. A member and leader of the indie folk rock band, Royal House, his work stretches far beyond imagination and even farther back in cultural timeline with spiritual Native American and world influences.
Dell Guthrie is a local talent noted not so much as a song writer, but rather a man that writes songs. Pure, sweet vocal renderings, and tasty guitar licks are his hallmark. Carved from the block of soul known as Fats and Chubby. Developed by the likes of Steve Miller and Van Morrison. Varnished with the struggle within.
