Join Stokes Arts in welcoming Frank Duncan and the Sheriffs of Stokes, Rockingham, Yadkin, and Surry Counties to The Arts Place to celebrate “Sheriffs Taking Care Of Business” and to support non-profits in each county.
Moonshine Stills were a way of making a living, but illegal, in these rural counties in the 1940’s. Occasionally sheriffs from these counties were called upon to participate in a common bust as illustrated in the print.
This FREE event will be held at The Arts Place of Stokes, 502 Main St., Danbury on August 24th from 6-8pm.
