You are invited to meet our Artists in Residence, Bruce Burgess and Craig Richards, inside The Arts Place Studio Loft on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 7pm until 9pm.
Bruce Burgess enjoys drawing and painting directly from life, capturing the feelings of an experience and sharing them with others. Burgess draws on a background of illustration where many photo references and studies are produced for each composition.
Craig Richards has a deep love for the outdoors, spending most of his free time climbing, paddling and hiking. This love is reflected in the essence of his paintings and sculptures. His paintings are primarily in oils reflecting a variety of styles. His sculptures combine the feel of the natural world coupled with sparks of modern elements. He is the founding member of Triad Outdoor Painters and a long time member of Muddy River Art Association.
