Celebrate Scholars with Stokes Arts!
We are kicking off scholarship season by celebrating some of the brightest young artists in Stokes County!
Our panel of past Stokes Arts Scholarship winners Tara Shiphof, Erin Kye, Aaron Gibbons, and Amanda Gordon will be on hand to share their experiences and work.
Tara Shiphof currently attends The North Carolina School of the Arts working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in ballet and performed in this year’s production of The Nutcraker.
Erin Kye is a Junior at Guilford College pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Printmaking and a minor in Film.
Aaron Gibbons was a 2013 graduate of UNC Asheville with a Bachelor of Arts degree and Teaching License.
Amanda Gordon is our current Visual Arts Chairperson and former scholarship recipient.
