The Danbury Songwriters Concert Series returns to The Arts Place of Stokes for another summer of live local music!
A Stokes County favorite and native son, Taylor Vaden opens the summer series on Thursday, May 30 at 7:00 p.m. Taylor is a singer-songwriter and entertainer. He has played the regional music scene for over 10 years, becoming a favorite of the venues he plays at regularly. Vaden’s solo acoustic performances showcase a wide variety of music that everyone enjoys. From country to oldies and blues to inspirational, you are sure to hear some of your favorite songs during this show. You may even hear a couple of original songs from Vaden and yes, of course, an Elvis song or two.
The Danbury Songwriters will feature a different artist each Thursday evening through Labor Day. June’s lineup includes: June 6 – Jeff Wall, June 13 – Randy Carter, June 20 – David Childers, June 27- Arcus Hyatt.
The Arts Place is located at 502 Main Street, Danbury. Admission to the Danbury Songwriters shows are $5, with season tickets are available for $50.
