Martin Tucker is a Vietnam-era U.S. Navy veteran, an award-winning photojournalist, author, and filmmaker. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from The Military Order Of The Purple Heart for his work on the exhibit A Thousand Words: Photographs by Vietnam Veterans. His new book, Vietnam Photographs From North Carolina Veterans – The Memories They Brought Home, is based on that exhibit.
